Jewson are looking for an experienced Tool Hire Supervisor to join the successful, supportive team at their branch in Reading. You will lead by example, building strong relationships with customers and colleagues to drive growth while ensuring top service.

This full-time role involves driving a 3.5 tonne van with trailer to deliver and collect orders, maintaining safety, and supporting the team with proactive cross-selling.

Qualifications

• Experience in tool hire preferred.
• Full UK driving licence required.
• Willingness to work alternating Saturdays.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and collect customer orders for tool hire on schedule.
• Maintain safe, efficient operations and load/offload equipment.
• Perform pre-delivery checks and basic repairs on tools.
• Support cross-selling to grow branch profitability.
• Record paperwork and keep delivery documentation.
