Job summary

Jewson, part of Stark UK, is hiring a Tool Hire Assistant/Driver for our Stirling branch. No experience required; full training provided and you’ll help customers with safe, well-maintained equipment.

The role is full-time, Monday to Friday 7:30am-17:00, with every other Saturday 08:00-12:00. Approximately 80% of duties involve delivering a 3.5 tonne van and collecting orders.

Responsibilities

• Deliver day-to-day tool hire activities to ensure safe, efficient operations.
• Develop strong customer relationships and support growth through cross selling.
• Deliver and collect orders, ensure accuracy and safe loading/unloading.
• Support colleagues with product knowledge and tool hire basics.
• Perform pre-delivery checks to keep tools safe and operational.
• Complete delivery paperwork and maintain records.
• Inspect and perform basic repairs on tools and small plant.
