STARK Building Materials UK is seeking a Tool Hire Assistant/Driver for our Stirling branch. The role focuses on delivering and collecting tool hire orders, maintaining equipment, and delivering great customer service.
No prior experience is required as full training is provided. You will drive a 3.5 tonne van, handling deliveries and pre-delivery checks, with a Monday to Friday schedule (07:30–17:00) and every other Saturday (08:00–12:00).

As a Tool Hire Assistant at Jewson, you will play a key role in ensuring
customers receive safe, well-maintained equipment and excellent service.
For 80% of the role, you willbe requiredto drive a 3.5 tonne van to deliver and collect customer orders, so a full UK driving licence is essential.
This is a full-time role working Monday-Friday 7:30am-17:00pm, with the requirement of working every other Saturday from 08:00-12:00.
WhatYou’llBeDoing:
Deliver day-to-day tool hire activities, deploying resource to ensure efficient,effectiveand safe operations
Lead by example in developing strong relationships through regular customer interaction, supporting the team to maximise growth through pro-active cross selling
Deliver and collect customer ordersin a timely manner, ensuring orders areaccurateand all equipment is secured and loaded/offloaded safelyin accordance withcompany procedures
Support branch colleagues in building knowledge and competence in tool hire product
Conduct pre-delivery checks to ensure tools and machinery are clean, safe, and fully operational
Complete all relevant delivery paperwork and record keeping
Inspect, test, and carry out basic repairs on a range of tools and small plant (e.g., breakers, saws, mixers, access equipment)
