Job summary

The University of Manchester is seeking a motivated TLSE Administrator in the Curriculum & Programmes Team within the School of Medical Sciences. The role focuses on delivering excellent service with a student-centred approach, working flexibly both independently and with colleagues across boundaries.

You will be the primary contact for teaching staff, contribute to events and committee meetings, and support with curriculum and programme processes, including QA and student registrations.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of teaching and learning and/or student administrative policies and procedures.
• Experience working in a team within a large organisation with flexibility and support for colleagues.
• Excellent communication skills, able to provide information, advice and guidance while maintaining confidentiality.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and resolve issues.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Administer Teaching, Learning and Student Experience activities for the assigned team.
• Supervise and coordinate the work of the team, acting as a reference point.
• Maintain and update system records compliant with data protection legislation and generate reports.
• Assist with planning, organisation and delivery of events; organise and service formal committee meetings and groups.
• Support curriculum and programme activities including quality assurance, updating unit specification data, recording student changes, assisting with curriculum reviews, course unit selection and student registrations.
