About the Team

The Data Science team is a global, full-stack data team that plays an important role in empowering and driving the growth of TikTok Shop. Through impactful data insights and data products, the team focuses on areas such as metrics development, product, operation, algorithm improvement, data infrastructure, and data product development. The team enables informed decision-making and helps optimize the performance and effectiveness of TikTok Shop.

As a Senior Data Analyst, you will:

• Be responsible for data analysis of e-commerce operation strategies including Merchant and Creator strategies, business performance, and reporting.
• Design monitoring systems to reflect any business changes in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with the Ops team to set strategies, find potential creators, measure user LTV, and develop merchant growth strategies.
• Support regional operation teams across overseas markets with data analysis, providing optimization suggestions.
• Work with PM, Ops, and R&D teams to implement optimization schemes that lead to business growth.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or above, preferably in statistics or data science.
• At least 3 years of experience in data analysis or science.
• Proficient in SQL and Tableau or other relevant tools/languages.
• Experience working in an analytical role within e-commerce or similar environments.
• Self-motivated with the ability to learn quickly and adapt in a diverse, cross-functional environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Knowledge of statistical methods and applications such as A/B testing, probability, and regression.
• Experience with Python or R.
