Team Introduction

The e-commerce industry has seen tremendous growth in recent years and has become a hotly contested space amongst leading Internet companies. With millions of loyal users globally, TikTok aims to deliver a better e-commerce experience by integrating discovery, inspiration, and joy into shopping. We are building an innovative, secure, and intuitive e-commerce ecosystem. We seek passionate and talented individuals to join our product and operations team.

Responsibilities:

  1. Work closely with cross-functional leads to understand the needs of E-commerce consumers, merchants, and influencers in the UK and global markets.
  2. Collaborate with stakeholders to identify key research questions shaping product strategy.
  3. Create appropriate research methods based on questions, timelines, and resources.
  4. Design and execute research, synthesizing findings into actionable insights for stakeholders.
  5. Measure and track how product changes influence user behaviors and attitudes over time across markets.
  6. Conduct foundational research and gather insights from relevant industries to explore long-term product solutions.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • At least 5 years of UX research experience, preferably in E-commerce or tech industries.
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Psychology, Statistics, Sociology, Marketing Research, Economics, International Trade, or related fields.
  • Experience with qualitative and quantitative research methods such as usability studies, focus groups, interviews, surveys, data analysis, A/B testing, etc. Ability to conduct interviews and design questionnaires in the UK.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Ability to work independently, take initiative, and solve problems.
  • Manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent written and spoken communication skills to influence product decisions.
  • Proficiency in analyzing large datasets using SQL, Python, R, or SPSS.
