Job summary

South Leicester TIG welder position in a growing precision component manufacturer. 2-shift rotation, £18.92/hr plus bonus and overtime, immediate start. 37 hours per week with strong training and clear career progression.

Role involves welding aerospace and industrial gas turbine components, reading drawings, and maintaining safety and quality standards in a fast-paced environment. Right to work in the UK; sponsorship not available.

Qualifications

• Proven TIG welding experience, ideally aerospace or gas turbines.
• Experience in fast-paced manufacturing or engineering environments.
• Competent with hand/air tools and measuring systems.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and follow method specifications.
• Strong attention to quality and safety.

Responsibilities

• TIG weld aerospace and industrial gas turbine components to customer specifications.
• Perform critical tube welding and vane assembly tasks.
• Inspect work to ensure quality and compliance.
• Complete batch cards and documentation.
• Use hand and air tools and understand basic engineering drawings and method specifications.
• Maintain high standards of health, safety, and quality.
