SolviT Recruitment Ltd in Leicestershire is seeking a skilled TIG Welder for a permanent, full‑time role at a global aerospace components supplier. You will weld steel and aluminium to tight tolerances, including castings, with experience in aluminium critical for aerospace applications.

Shifts rotate: Day and Late, with an initial welcome period on fixed days at base rate before switching to shift pay. Starting rate is £18.92 per hour, with enhanced overtime and a discretionary quarterly bonus

Qualifications

• Experience with TIG welding of aluminium and castings.
• Experience in the aerospace sector or similar high‑tolerance work.
• Ability to work to tight specifications on steel and aluminium components.

TIG Welder

Rotating Day/Late

Salary: Starting at £18.92 p/hr inc shift

Wigston (LE18)

PERMANENT JOB :- Full time

We are looking for a TIG Welding Wizard who weld a clean line, someone who has experience with castings, some vein to vein work and crucially experience with aluminium.

For this you are working with steel & aluminium components for the aerospace sector (mixture of standard components & castings), working to tight tolerances.

Working a rotating shift of:

Days (Mon to Thurs 05:45 - 13:45, Friday 05:45-10:45)

Late (Mon to Thurs 13:45 - 21:45, Fridays 01:45 - 15:45)

During your initial first couple of weeks (2 - 4) you will be on fixed days receiving base rate of £15.90p/hr, the moment you go to shifts you receive £18.92p/hr on both shifts.
