Job summary

Owen Daniels is seeking an experienced TIG Welder near Redditch to join a well-established aerospace manufacturing team. The role involves producing high-quality tube assemblies and components in a regulated environment, with a temp-to-perm pathway and overtime availability.

Responsibilities include reading engineering drawings, setting up and programming TIG and orbital weld equipment, and inspecting finished parts to aerospace standards. Immediate start available for suitable candidates.

Qualifications

• Experience as a TIG Welder, ideally in aerospace or regulated precision manufacturing.
• Able to read and work from engineering drawings.
• Experience welding stainless steel, titanium, aluminium and/or Inconel.
• Experience using inspection and measurement equipment.

We are currently recruiting for an experienced TIG Welder to join a well-established aerospace manufacturing company based near the Redditch area. Job Description

• Carry out manual and orbital TIG welding of tube assemblies, brackets and components.
• Work from engineering drawings, data cards, process specifications and standard work instructions.
• Set up, operate, maintain and programme TIG and orbital welding equipment.
• Inspect finished components using equipment including shadowgraphs, borescopes, verniers and micrometres.
• Ensure all work meets the required quality and aerospace manufacturing standards.

Essential Experience/Skills/Qualifications

• Previous experience working as a TIG Welder, ideally within an aerospace or regulated precision manufacturing environment.
• Confident reading and working from engineering drawings.
• Experience welding a variety of materials, including stainless steel, titanium, aluminium and/or Inconel.
• Experience using inspection and measurement equipment.
