Job summary

Hyde Details (Fabrications and Welding) Ltd is seeking an experienced TiG Welder to join a collaborative, forward-thinking team in a modern facility with free parking. You will weld aerospace components and read drawings to exacting standards, while contributing to a culture that prioritizes safety and continuous improvement.

The role involves welding aluminium, stainless steel and titanium, maintaining quality, and meeting deadlines in a clean, compliant workspace.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in TiG welding; Aerospace/defence experience preferred.
• Ability to read engineering drawings.
• Ability to work in a team and use own initiative.
• Keen eye for detail.
• Legally authorised to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate and weld Aerospace & Defence components from Aluminium, Stainless Steel and Titanium.
• Perform fillet and butt welds in thicknesses from 0.5mm to 3mm (occasional thicker).
• Manual torch brazing of aluminium and stainless steel.
• Work to tight tolerances and deadlines.
• Welding to Aircraft standards and specifications.
• Keep a clean and organised work area.
• Follow health and safety guidelines.

As a TiG Welder, your responsibilities will include:

• Fabrication and welding various Aerospace & Defence components from Aluminium, Stainless Steel and Titanium.

• Fillet and butt welds in thicknesses and combinations between 0.5mm to 3mm (occasionally thicker).

• Manual torch brazing of aluminium and stainless steel.

• Working to tight tolerances and deadlines.

• Welding to Aircraft standards and specifications.

• Maintaining a clean and organised work area as required.

• Following all health and safety guidelines.

About You Requirements

• Proven experience in TiG welding. Aerospace or defence sectors experience will be preferred.

• Ability to read engineering drawings.

• Ability to work as part of a team and using own initiative.

• Legally authorised to work in the UK.
