HR Employment Bureau Redditch is seeking a skilled TIG Welder to join a trusted manufacturing partner in Pershore. You will weld aluminium and stainless-steel fabrications for safety-critical projects, ensuring compliance with strict international standards and ongoing certification maintenance.

The role emphasizes precision, attention to detail, and collaboration with the production team to hit deadlines and quality targets.

Qualifications

• Proven experience with TIG (141) welding aluminium.
• Experience working to certified or highly regulated standards.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work to fine tolerances.

Responsibilities

• Perform TIG (141) welding on aluminium fabrications from 1.5mm to 30mm.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings accurately.
• Set up and operate TIG welding equipment safely and effectively.
• Conduct visual inspection of welds to BS EN ISO 17673:2022 standards.
• Work with the production team to meet project targets and deadlines.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment.
• Continue internal and external training to maintain qualification to BS EN ISO 9606.

Pay: £14.34 - £18.50 per hour

Hours: 07:45am-17:00pm Mon-Thurs, 07:45am-13:00pm Friday

What you will do:

Essential Experience:

• Proven experience with TIG (141) welding aluminium
• Experience working to certified or highly regulated standards
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work to fine tolerances
• Good organisational and problem-solving skills

Desirable Experience:

• Experience in Defence, Aerospace, Motorsport, or similar industries
• Previous coding to ISO 9606-1/2
• NVQ/City & Guilds in welding, fabrication, or a relevant engineering subject
