Job summary

Green Folk in Camberley is seeking a skilled TIG Welder to join our manufacturing team on a permanent basis. You will perform TIG and occasional MIG welding on stainless steel and other sheet metal materials, reading engineering drawings and using a range of hand tools.

Hours are 7:30am–4:30pm Mon-Thu and 7:30am–1:30pm on Friday; base salary £37,500–£40,000 per year with onsite parking and company benefits.

Qualifications

• Proven background in stainless steel TIG welding; coded advantageous
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
• Experienced using a variety of hand tools

• Ensure fabrications meet rigorous and industry leading standards
• Support production and quality teams with inspections
• Support process improvements and continuous improvement implementation

Camberley

A leading manufacturer are seeking the right individual to join their team as a TIG Welder working at their Camberley site carrying out TIG, and occasional MIG welding, of stainless steel and other sheet metal-based materials.

Must have background.

• Proven background and experience in stainless steel TIG welding (coded will be advantageous)
• The ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Experienced using a variety of hand tools.
• Must have strong interpersonal skills.
• Must be well organised and communicative.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Performing TIG and MIG welding duties
• Ensuring produced fabrications meet rigorous and industry leading standards.
• Supporting production and quality teams with inspections
• Supporting the enhancement on process improvements and continuous improvements implementation
• Developing methods of manufacture

• Profit Share Scheme - paid 6 monthly (Mar & Sept). Whilst this is based on Company profit and is therefore not guaranteed, it is designed to pay approx. 3% of salary across a year.
