Hyde Details (Fabrications and Welding) Ltd is seeking a skilled TiG Welder to join their Lancashire-based, purpose-built facility. You will fabricate and weld aerospace and defence components from aluminium, stainless steel and titanium, with tight tolerances and industry standards.

Qualifications

• Proven TiG welding experience.
• Aerospace or defence sector experience preferred.
• Ability to read engineering drawings.
• Team player with initiative.
• Keen eye for detail.
• Legally authorised to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate and weld Aerospace & Defence components from Aluminium, Stainless Steel and Titanium.
• Fillet and butt welds in thicknesses and combinations between 0.5mm to 3mm (occasionally thicker).
• Manual torch brazing of aluminium and stainless steel.
• Working to tight tolerances and deadlines.
• Welding to Aircraft standards and specifications.
• Maintaining a clean and organised work area as required.
• Following all health and safety guidelines.
