Barnsley Football Club is seeking a hands-on lead to deliver end-to-end ticketing and matchday services. You will own VMS configurations, manage pricing, seating and event setup, and supervise staff while ensuring a seamless online, phone and in-person sales experience.

This role requires calm under pressure, strong systems knowledge, and a customer-focused mindset to drive membership growth, season ticket renewals and high standards across the club shop.

Qualifications

• Experience in sport or live events.
• Team leadership experience.
• Experience with memberships or subscriptions.
• Exposure to financial reporting and reconciliation.
• Experience in retail presentation, stock handling and supplier coordination.
• Strong systems and problem-solving ability.
• High attention to detail.
• Organised and able to prioritise effectively.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Responsabilités

• Lead ticketing operations on matchdays, including staffing, systems and setup.
• Oversee ticket sales across online, phone and in-person channels.
• Manage end-to-end setup of fixtures in VMS, including pricing, seating and event configuration.
• Liaise with Capelli to support stock requirements, orders, deliveries and replenishment.
• Maintain club shop presentation and stock records; ensure stock checks and discrepancies are managed.
• Deliver post-match reporting and reconciliation; provide accurate reporting to support planning and financial control.
