Job summary

Qualifications

• GCSE English and Maths at grade C or above.
• Business and Administration Level 3 NVQ or equivalent experience.
• Commitment to respectful and inclusive practice.
• Experience working in NHS or health settings is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Triaging referrals with key clinical staff to support timely care.
• Manage patient communications via telephone and Trust systems to create letters, emails and text reminders.
• Act as a point of contact for queries from clinical and non-clinical staff.
• Liaise with clinical and non-clinical teams across the Trust via telephone and email.
• Escalate patient queries and capacity issues appropriately.
• Communicate changes to clinics and appointments to patients, often at short notice.
• Demonstrate a caring and professional approach to patients and carers.
