Job summary

Tesco Insurance and Money Services is seeking Claims Handlers - Settlements to join the Third Party Settlement Team in Newcastle. You will proactively manage non-fault motor claims, helping customers access repair and mobility solutions while delivering excellent service.

The role offers hybrid working after training, with a clear path to develop skills in negotiation, fraud awareness and handling complex claims while supporting customers through challenging situations.

Qualifications

• Strong technical claims knowledge including indemnity, subrogation and motor liability.
• Proven ability to independently manage an active caseload and prioritise claims.
• Excellent communication; able to explain complex information clearly and negotiate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Proactively contacting non-fault third parties and promoting repair/mobility services.
• Build relationships with customers and third-party representatives to achieve the right outcome.
• Negotiate with third-party stakeholders to deliver fair outcomes while controlling costs.
• Manage claim progress and monitor hire and repair activity.
• Identify and escalate potential fraud concerns in line with processes.
• Support efficient handling and settlement of claims with high service standards.
