Envisage Recruitment Limited is seeking a Field Sales Engineer for imaging and photonics in the UK. The role blends technical knowledge with business development and customer management to grow both existing accounts and new opportunities.

You will work across defence, aerospace, scientific, industrial and related markets, building relationships from R&D to purchasing while targeting agreed sales margins and growth.

Qualifications

• Experience selling thermal imaging cameras or specialist imaging equipment.
• Background in electronics, electrical engineering, physics or related field.
• Proven track record in technical sales and new business development.
• Experience with OEM or scientific customers and long sales cycles.

Responsibilities

• Develop existing accounts and win new business opportunities.
• Manage full sales cycle from requirements to quotation, negotiation and closing.
• Collaborate with customers, suppliers and internal engineering teams on imaging solutions.
• Attend meetings and exhibitions, maintain CRM data, and hit sales targets.
