Job summary

ENVISAGE RECRUITMENT LIMITED is seeking an experienced Technical Sales Manager to drive growth of a specialist portfolio of sensor and electronic component technologies across the UK. This field-based role blends technical knowledge with commercial sales, building relationships with engineers and customers from design through production.

You will develop new business, grow existing accounts, and help customers find the right technical solution for their applications, while travelling across the

Qualifications

• Experience in technical sales or field applications engineering.
• Sensors experience is advantageous (temperature, environmental, gas, accelerometers, MEMS).
• Engineering/electronics qualification or equivalent technical experience.
• Experience with design-in opportunities and customer-facing engineering roles.

Responsibilities

• Develop new business and grow UK customer accounts.
• Build relationships with engineers, designers, purchasing teams and key decision makers.
• Identify new applications and markets for sensor and electronic technologies.
• Support customers through the design-in process from initial specification to production.
• Present and demonstrate products focusing on technical and commercial benefits.
• Manage the sales pipeline and achieve sales and margin targets.
• Collaborate with internal teams and suppliers to deliver solutions and maintain CRM forecasts.
