Job summary

The Witherslack Group in Guildford (Bramley Hill School) seeks a Therapies Assistant to support Speech and Language and Occupational Therapy services. You will assist with one-to-one and small group sessions at Bramley Hill School, a specialist day school for pupils with autism and related needs.

You will work under supervision and coordinate with parents, carers, and our multi-disciplinary team to ensure the best outcomes for children and young people, with ongoing training and development

Qualifications

• At least 5 GCSEs (including English).
• Experience working with children and young people with SEMH/SEN.
• Good understanding of safeguarding rules and practices.
• Can-do attitude and team player.
• Honesty, empathy and genuine care for young people.

Responsibilities

• Support one-to-one and small group interventions under supervision.
• Gather information for high quality assessments.
• Liaise with parents, carers, colleagues, and partner agencies to support the best outcomes.
