Job summary

Witherslack Group is seeking a Therapies Assistant to join our Wakefield-based schools. The role works across Hall Cliffe Primary and Hall Cliffe School, four days per week, supporting one-to-one and small group interventions under the Speech and Language Therapist and Occupational Therapist.

You will liaise with parents and partner agencies, contribute to high-quality assessments, and be part of a multidisciplinary team improving outcomes for children with SEMH/SEN.

Qualifications

• At least 5 GCSEs (including English).
• Experience with children and young people with SEMH/SEN in similar roles is desirable.
• Good understanding of safeguarding rules and practice.

Responsibilities

• Support one-to-one and small group interventions under supervision.
• Gather information for high quality assessments.
• Liaise with parents, carers, colleagues and partner agencies to support best outcomes for the children.
