Job summary

Witherslack Group seeks a Therapies Assistant to support speech and language therapy and occupational therapy activities across Hall Cliffe School and Hall Cliffe Primary School in Wakefield. You will work under the onsite therapists to deliver one-to-one and small group sessions, helping gather information for assessments and contributing to a nurturing, child-centred environment.

Qualifications

• At least 5 GCSEs including English.
• You'll have worked with children and young people with SEMH and/or SEN in similar or other roles.
• Have a good understanding of safeguarding rules and practice.
• A 'can do' attitude – a team player who helps others.

• The resilience to deal with challenging situations.
