Job summary

The Esland Group Ltd is seeking a dedicated Children’s Residential Support Worker for our solo home in Lancaster. This full-time permanent role involves building nurturing relationships with young people aged 8 to 18, supporting emotional regulation, daily routines and education access within a trauma-informed care framework.

You will work 48-hour shifts with paid sleep-ins, enjoy a generous benefits package, and have access to extensive training and development.

Qualifications

• Experience within care, education, mental health support and/or youth activities is highly desirable.
• A full UK driving licence is essential.
• Applicants with full right to work in the UK with no restrictions.

Responsibilities

• Supporting your young person with emotional regulation, daily routines and personal development.
• Keeping detailed records and promoting safeguarding at all times.
• Supporting your young person with activities, education access and household responsibilities.
• Committing to 48-hour shifts, including paid sleep-ins, with a 4-day break and structured shifts.
