Job summary

The Esland Group Ltd in Preston is seeking a dedicated Children’s Residential Support Worker to join Pear Tree Cottage. You will work with a small team to provide a nurturing, therapeutic environment for children aged 8 to 18, focusing on safety, development and well-being.

Role offers a permanent full-time contract with shifts including sleeps, and a salary between £33,682 and £34,305 per year. Training and progression opportunities are provided in a supportive, 365-day service setting.

Qualifications

• Experience within care, education, mental health support and/or youth activities is highly desirable.
• A full UK driving licence is required.
• Applicants must have the right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Support the young person with emotional regulation, daily routines and personal development.
• Keep detailed records and promote safeguarding at all times.
• Support with activities, education access, personal interests and household responsibilities.
