Job summary

Paragon Social Care Limited is opening a brand-new two-bed children’s residential home near Spalding, Lincolnshire, and seeks Residential Support Workers to join the team. You’ll help form a safe, supportive home environment and support two young people with EBD, SEMH, trauma and complex needs.

The role offers £33,488 salary per year, a £2,000 joining bonus, 40.25 hours per week on day shifts, and ongoing training and career development within children’s residential care.

Qualifications

• Caring, compassionate and reliable individual with a calm demeanor under pressure.
• Strong communication skills and ability to set boundaries.
• Experience or aptitude for working with young people in residential settings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Build positive, trusting relationships with young people.
• Support daily routines, structure, education appointments and activities.
• Help young people develop life skills and independence.
• Provide emotional support and aid emotional regulation.
• Help implement safeguarding and care plans, and record-keeping.
