Job summary

Health Recruit Network is seeking an experienced Registered Manager for a new therapeutic children's home in Maidstone. This vital role involves leading a dedicated team to create a safe and supportive environment for children who have experienced trauma.

The successful candidate will have a Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management, experience in managing Ofsted-registered homes, and a strong understanding of safeguarding and trauma-informed practices. A competitive salary of up to £60,000 is on offer, alongside substantial annual leave and professional development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Experience managing or deputy-managing an Ofsted-registered children's home rated Good or Outstanding.
• Strong understanding of residential care regulations and trauma-informed practice.
• Track record of leading improvement plans and preparing for Ofsted inspections.

Responsibilities

• Lead and inspire your residential childcare team to achieve outstanding outcomes for children.
• Promote a therapeutic culture where behaviour is understood as communication of underlying need.
• Oversee all aspects of the home’s management in line with Children’s Homes Regulations and Quality Standards.
