Health Recruit Network is seeking an experienced Registered Children's Home Manager for a therapeutic home in the Maidstone area. You will lead a team to deliver high-quality, trauma-informed care for children, ensuring safety, safeguarding and compliance with regulations.

The role offers a salary up to £60,000 plus bonus, and new/upcoming therapeutic homes within a family-run group. You will develop staff, oversee Ofsted readiness, and shape a warm, structured environment conducive to healing

Qualifikationen

• Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management for Residential Childcare (or working towards).
• Experience managing an Ofsted-registered children’s home rated Good/Outstanding.
• Strong safeguarding knowledge and trauma-informed practice.
• Excellent people leadership and resilience under pressure.

Aufgaben

• Lead and inspire your residential childcare team to achieve outstanding outcomes for children.
• Promote a therapeutic culture where behaviour is understood as communication of underlying need.
• Oversee all aspects of the home’s management in line with Children’s Homes Regulations (England) 2015 and Quality Standards.
• Ensure safeguarding, risk management and reflective practice remain central to everything the home does.
• Build a joyful, structured home environment with positive routines, rituals and boundaries that support safety and belonging.
• Develop and mentor your team through coaching, supervision, and performance development.
• Work collaboratively with professionals, families and placing authorities to secure the best outcomes for every child.
