Job summary

A2B Social Care Recruitment Ltd seeks an experienced Registered Children's Manager to lead a 3-bed therapeutic EBD home in Milton Keynes. The role focuses on safeguarding, governance, and delivering personalised care plans within Ofsted frameworks.

You will oversee staff development, recruitment, and ongoing training, aiming for a Good or Outstanding Ofsted rating. Full-time, Mon-Fri hours, with extensive benefits included.

Qualifications

• Level 5 or 7 Diploma in Leadership & Management for Children’s Residential or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years' management experience working with children and young people within a residential environment.
• Driving Licence is essential.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a Children’s Home, adhering to the Statement of Purpose and Ofsted regulatory framework
• Ensure personalised care plans that meet the individual needs of the child
• Supervise and support the development of staff, ensuring compliance with safeguarding and service governance
• Manage recruitment, staff training, and development
• Achieve and maintain a "Good" or "Outstanding" rating from Ofsted
