Job summary

North Tees and Hartlepool NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Band 3 Theatre Support Worker to join the Main Theatres at University Hospital North Tees. The role supports patients undergoing anaesthetic and surgical procedures, assisting in workload and delivering a high-quality service in a professional environment.

The post holder will work as part of a multi-professional team with supervision from a registered practitioner. Cross-site work across University Hospitals Tees may be required.

Qualifications

• Band 3 Theatre Support Worker position in main theatres.
• Willingness to learn and develop new skills in a supported environment.
• Ability to work under supervision of a registered practitioner.

Responsibilities

• Provide a high standard of care to patients undergoing anaesthetic and surgical procedures.
• Assist in the department's workload and deliver a quality service in a professional manner.
• Support the multi-professional team by undertaking duties after assessment and planning by a registered practitioner.
• Undertake non-nursing and ancillary duties as required.
