Homerton Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust invites applications for a Clinical Support Worker in Main Theatres (Band 3). We are opening two new operating theatres to support HVLC surgical work across ENT, Gynaecology and General Surgery.

This permanent post, with an additional fixed-term maternity cover, offers a friendly theatre team, opportunities to develop in NHS environments and contribute to delivering high‑quality patient care.

Qualifications

• NHS Care Certificate required at appointment.

Responsibilities

• Assisting the surgical team to provide high quality safe care to patients.
• Supporting the surgical team to prepare sterile and non sterile equipment.
• Assisting setting up of theatres daily.
• Maintaining accurate intra-op documentation.
• Maintaining a clean and tidy environment throughout theatres.
• Maintaining good stock levels, using Genesis & Scan 4 Safety.
