You will work alongside Registered Nurses and ODPs to deliver safe, patient-centred care within a busy theatre setting, supporting patients throughout their surgical journey and helping the theatre services run smoothly.

Responsibilities

• Assist the theatre team in preparing the operating theatre.
• Support the safe positioning of patients in theatre, pre-, peri- and post-operatively.
• Provide the theatre team with consumables and equipment as required.
• Ensure the theatre is clean and tidy before and after sessions.
• Circulate during procedures, set up for lists, and participate in instrument and final swab checks.
• Undertake equipment safety checks and troubleshoot as required.
