Qualifications

• Level 3 vocational qualification or equivalent required.
• Level 2 English and Maths essential.
• NVQ Level 2 in Peri-operative care or Operating Department Support preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support the multi-professional team by undertaking duties under a registered practitioner.
• Provide non-nursing and ancillary support as appropriate.
• Assist in preparation and positioning of patients and equipment for theatre lists.
• Maintain documentation in line with professional standards and Trust policies.
• Uphold infection prevention measures and safe handling of equipment.
