Nuffield Health Plymouth Hospital is seeking a Scrub Practitioner/Theatre Practitioner (RGN/ODP) to join our multi‑disciplinary perioperative team. This permanent, full-time role covers scrubbing in the theatre alongside post‑registration responsibilities, with opportunities for Surgical First Assist training.

The role requires registration with NMC or HCPC, post‑registration scrub experience, and a strong commitment to patient care.

Qualifications

• Must be registered with the appropriate governing body (NMC or HCPC).
• Post-registration Scrub experience in a Theatre environment.
• Able to work as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Able to provide high-quality perioperative care.

We have 3 main theatres – 2 laminar flow and 1 digital, a fully JAG accredited endoscopy suite, a 35-bedded ward with one 4 bedded bay and one 2 bedded bay. Our outpatients department has 12 consulting rooms. We carry out treatment under a range of specialities including Orthopaedics, Plastic Surgery and Neurosurgery.
