Job summary

Nuffield Health Plymouth Hospital is seeking a Theatre Practitioner (ODP/ODP) to join our scrubbing team. The role is permanent and full-time, with weekend work, offering a supportive environment and opportunities to develop perioperative skills.

You will work in a multidisciplinary theatre team, using state-of-the-art equipment, and contribute to high-quality patient care. Registration with NMC or HCPC and post-registration Scrub experience are required.

Qualifications

• Registered with governing body (NMC/HCPC) and perioperative scrub experience.
• Post-registration Scrub experience in a Theatre environment.
• Team player with passion for patient care.

Up To £39,000 Per Annum Depending On Experience

37.5 hours per week

As a Scrub Practitioner/ Theatre Practitioner (ODP) at our hospital, you’ll be focused, detail-oriented empathetic with great communication skills. You’re registered with the appropriate governing body, and you bring the qualifications and experience relevant to your registration, including NMC or HCPC. With post-registration experience in Scrub roles within a Theatre environment, you’re a team player with a passion for exceptional patient care.

As a Scrub Practitioner or Theatre Practitioner (ODP), you will:

Nuffield Health Plymouth Hospital

The Nuffield Health Plymouth Hospital is situated next to the Nuffield Health Devonshire Gym, in Derriford, Plymouth and we have been part of the Plymouth community since 1971. We have 3 main theatres - 2 laminar flow and 1 digital, a fully JAG accredited endoscopy suite, a 35-bedded ward with one 4-bedded bay and one 2-bedded bay. Our outpatients department has 12 consulting rooms. We carry out treatment under a range of specialities including Orthopaedics, Plastic Surgery and Neurosurgery. We recently were rated in the top 50 hospitals in the country for our total hip replacement patient outcomes.
