Job summary

Compass Associates is assisting an independent healthcare provider in Crowborough to recruit Theatre Practitioners for Scrub and Recovery roles in a busy elective orthopaedic theatre. The position offers a four-day week (8am–6pm) with strong development opportunities and a supportive multidisciplinary team.

You will provide perioperative care across Scrub or Recovery, work closely with surgeons and anaesthetists, and contribute to patient safety, governance and ongoing professional development

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with current NMC registration or HCPC registration.
• Previous theatre experience.
• Ability to work in Scrub or Recovery and support multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality Scrub or Recovery care in a busy elective theatre.
• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care.
• Support the safe and efficient running of operating lists and contribute to governance.
• Participate in audits, service improvement and professional development.
