Job summary

Centre for Surgery is seeking an experienced Theatre Practitioner (ODP/Nurse) to join our busy surgical team. You will work across pre-operative, intra-operative and post-operative care, supporting the anaesthetic, scrub and circulating roles as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Full-time, 40 hours across 4 or 5 days, with 35 days' annual leave and access to a company pension and private health benefits. No night shifts; ongoing training and development opportunities are provided.

Qualifications

• HCPC or NMC registration is required.
• At least two years’ operating theatre experience.
• Strong infection prevention and control knowledge.
• Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
• Excellent clinical assessment and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Carry out pre-operative assessments and safety checks.
• Work as scrub or circulating ODP across a range of procedures.
• Support anaesthetic team and maintain sterile theatre environment.
• Monitor patients post-operatively and manage early recovery.
