Urgently Hiring: Testing & Inspection Electrician Chelsea

Location: Chelsea

Shift Pattern: 4 on, 4 off (12-hour shifts)

Ref: ICR

Reports to: Contract Manager

Overview:

Are you a qualified Testing & Inspection Electrician with hands-on experience and a commitment to quality and compliance? Equans is actively seeking a skilled electrician to join our team immediately in Chelsea. This role requires deep knowledge of electrical testing, fault-finding, and compliance in critical environments. If you have extensive experience on the tools and are ready to make a difference, we want to hear from you.

Your Responsibilities:

• Inspection & Testing: Conducting and documenting electrical inspections according to BS standards.
• Fault Finding & Repair: Responding quickly to breakdowns and proactively resolving faults.
• Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM): Completing scheduled maintenance tasks in compliance with safety standards.
• Compliance & Audits: Performing site audits, maintaining safety protocols, and overseeing subcontractor work.
• Client Interaction: Communicating professionally and providing timely reports to clients.

Qualifications & Skills:

• City & Guilds Electrical Installation or equivalent
• C&G or equivalent (Essential)
• Minimum 5 years experience in electrical testing, inspection, and maintenance
• Ability to interpret technical diagrams and understand complex systems
• Proactive, safety-first approach and strong problem-solving skills
• Mechanical knowledge or M&E background
• Experience in building services or critical environments
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools
