Job summary

Leonardo in Basildon is seeking a Project Engineering Lead for Test Solutions. You will lead the engineering aspects of test projects, managing a multi-disciplinary team to meet milestones, budgets and quality targets, while coordinating with Design Authorities and customers across sites.

You will collaborate with the Test Engineering Technical Lead and IPTs to define strategies, manage risks and ensure solutions align with product roadmaps and business needs. Hybrid working is available.

Responsibilities

• Lead the engineering aspects of test projects, ensuring quality, schedule and budget.
• Manage day-to-day tasks of a multi-disciplinary team with clear roles.
• Build strong relationships with customers and partners to deliver capabilities.
• Maintain cross-functional communications across IPTs and Project Managers.
• Inform Design Authorities on progress, risks and mitigations.
• Ensure designs meet milestones and align with roadmaps and test needs.
• Control configuration and promote design reuse; support supplier management.
