Job summary

Leonardo UK is seeking a Lead Project Manager in Basildon to own and deliver a portfolio of precision guidance products. You will lead cross-functional teams, manage budgets and forecasts, and ensure projects meet time, cost and quality targets. The role involves national/international travel (<10%) with 2–3 days on site in Basildon under a hybrid work arrangement.

The ideal candidate has a track record in complex project leadership, governance experience, and strong stakeholder management. Security screening may apply as part of the recruitment process.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading complex projects and programmes.
• Strong product line management including roadmap development.
• Security clearance BPSS/NSV considerations may apply; able to meet government standards.

Responsibilities

• Own and deliver the product portfolio within the Precision Guidance IPT.
• Lead end-to-end delivery of multiple complex projects to time, cost and quality.
• Forecasting and progress reporting at annual, quarterly and monthly cadence.
• Drive governance, risk, and issue management across projects.
• Support bids and campaigns to increase PWIN and collaborate with stakeholders.
