Job summary

Pearson VUE in Chatham, Kent is hiring a Test Centre Administrator on a 6‑month contract with the possibility to become permanent. The role requires a minimum of 12 hours per week and pays £13.60 per hour, with monthly pay and flexible hours to cover test centre operations.

You will welcome candidates, verify identifications, proctor exams, and support IT with issues in a busy testing environment. A true team-player with good English and Maths, plus familiarity with Microsoft Office is helpful.

Qualifications

• School qualifications in English and Maths.
• Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook) is an advantage.
• Flexible to work a variety of days/times including weekends.

Responsibilities

• Welcome, greet and check-in customers/test-taking candidates.
• Comply with tests security, procedures and company policies.
• Verify personal IDs and explain exam rules.
• Proctor/invigilate candidates during exams.
• Troubleshoot with internal IT and other departments as needed.
• Perform housekeeping duties as necessary.
