Job Description:

This is an exciting time to join a dynamic and "disruptive" manufacturer of surgical sealants and tissue repair products. Having recently acquired another surgical manufacturer, they have further complemented their range with laparoscopic devices and surgical tools to add to their comprehensive range of surgical technologies. They manufacture a range of high-quality and cost-effective products used to treat open and intricate surgical wounds in hospitals. They have a strong presence in key teaching hospitals and NHS trusts across the UK and look to take market share from the larger players in this field. The UK team is passionate about teamwork, product knowledge, and education, and they deliver approved training to NHS clinicians as part of their role.

THE ROLE: The role involves consultative sales, facilitating product trials and evaluations, leading clinical education sessions, and building a network of relationships in hospitals. You will be well trained on products and the NHS sales process if not from a medical background. The Sales Specialist will receive full product and sales training and regular coaching in the field if needed. Typical customer contact points include working with Theatre Managers, Theatre Nurses, Surgeons, Consultants, ODPS, A&E Nurses, and procurement teams. Full training will be given.

THE TERRITORY: Bedfordshire, Cambridge, Norfolk, Suffolk, Essex, Northamptonshire & Milton Keynes

THE RIGHT CANDIDATE:

  1. A sales-driven candidate from either medical devices or healthcare sales.
  2. Theatre sales experience will enhance your application.
  3. Hardworking, not squeamish! A high-performing sales person with passion.
  4. Full driving licence and happy to travel daily to see customers.

THE PACKAGE FOR SURGICAL SALES SPECIALIST:

Basic: £45,000-55,000
Bonus: £18k OTE
Car: Company car allowance £500 p/m
