Job summary

We are supporting an established, family-run importer and distributor to appoint an Area Sales Manager for the North West of England and North Wales. You will identify, win and develop Builders Merchant accounts, visit roofing contractors and developers, and drive product demand through merchant partners.

The ideal candidate will have proven experience selling into Builders Merchants, developing contractor relationships, and a hungry, proactive sales mindset to meet targets.

Qualifications

• Experience selling into builders merchants or roofing merchants.
• Ability to develop contractor and developer relationships.
• Strong prospecting and hunter mentality to win new accounts.

Responsibilities

• Identify, win and develop Builders Merchant accounts across the North West and North Wales.
• Create contractor demand by visiting roofing contractors, housebuilders and developers and coordinating orders via merchant partners.
• Be the local contact for merchants and customers for technical support and account management.
• Manage your diary and patch to meet key sales targets and build relationships.
