Job summary

Ainscough Crane Hire is seeking an Area Sales Manager to own the East Riding of Yorkshire & Lincolnshire region from their Immingham depot. You’ll drive revenue by developing relationships with existing customers and new prospects, building a robust pipeline, and growing the business across the region.

We’re looking for a commercially minded salesperson with a proven track record, strong negotiation skills, and the ability to close deals.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a sales role with strong negotiation and influencing skills.
• Track record of achieving or exceeding targets.
• Confidence in building relationships and closing deals.
• Strong presentation and proposal-writing skills.
• Proactive, self-motivated with drive to succeed.
• Good IT skills (Microsoft Office; Excel especially)

Responsibilities

• Build and grow a strong pipeline of new business opportunities.
• Develop long-term partnerships with key clients.
• Manage and update CRM to track activity and opportunities.
• Respond quickly and effectively to incoming sales enquiries.
• Meet and exceed activity targets and KPIs.
• Deliver against monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
• Negotiate contracts and secure framework agreements.
• Provide clear updates and forecasts to the Regional Sales Manager.
