Job summary

Biffa Waste Services is seeking a Business Development Manager for the East Region (Peterborough, Corby, Norwich, Northampton). The role focuses on creating, managing and maintaining a pipeline of new business opportunities to drive profitable revenue growth for the small to medium sized customer division.

You will drive activity to meet KPIs, exceed targets and be the primary interface with target customers, supporting the company with proactive pricing and negotiations across the region.

Qualifications

• Experience generating a sales pipeline in a pure new business role.
• Proven track record in sales with consistent over-achievement of targets.
• Experience in telesales or other hunter sales-driven roles is essential.
• Ability to manage and grow a sales territory with KPI-driven activity.

Responsibilities

• Pro-actively selling profitable new business within a territory to meet KPIs and targets.
• Achieving and exceeding monthly new business targets.
• Managing a sales territory and creating prospect lists for business opportunities.
• Reporting calls, leads, quotes and contract activity to the Company Operating System.
• Producing and presenting weekly, monthly, quarterly personal performance.
