Job summary

BD is seeking a Territory Manager for Interventional Oncology to drive growth of the Pleural and Peritoneal Access portfolio (PleurX and PeritX). This field-based role covers a strategic territory across South West England and Wales, including Worcester, Cornwall and Portsmouth, and suits a senior sales professional who values autonomy and complex healthcare environments.

Qualifications

• Solid track record in healthcare sales with NHS/MedTech experience.
• Strong knowledge of NHS structures, purchasing routes and negotiations.
• Proven ability to plan and forecast territory performance.
• Excellent stakeholder management with clinical and procurement teams.
• Willingness to travel extensively and work in field.

Responsibilities

• Full commercial accountability for territory performance, treating the area as a standalone business
• Clear, data-led territory plans aligned with national and regional direction
• Consistent achievement of quarterly and annual sales goals across NHS accounts
• Long-term professional relationships with clinical, procurement, finance and operational teams
• Oversight of product evaluations, trials and adoption processes, including training and support
• Growth opportunities identified through value-based conversations and care pathway improvements
• Close collaboration with clinical specialists, marketing partners and sales leadership
• Accurate forecasting, pipeline control and disciplined CRM use
