Position Details

We have an exciting opportunity within our service department for a Sales of Service role covering the UK. The role is based in the Midlands to optimize travel across the UK.

Job Description

The successful candidate will focus on delivering measurable results in the service market, with a preference for candidates located in the Midlands to facilitate travel. The role requires an entrepreneurial mindset and a self-starter attitude, with relevant experience in the service industry or sales.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Maximize sales turnover and profitability within existing customer accounts.
  2. Generate new business opportunities.
  3. Identify and understand end-user application needs.
  4. Visit customers and prospects regularly to uncover future service opportunities.
  5. Map markets and identify new key customers.
  6. Utilize the Donaldson network to expand revenue streams.
  7. Prepare and deliver sales presentations.
  8. Manage all commercial aspects of sales transactions in the best interest of the company.
Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate is self-motivated, target-driven, detail-oriented, and flexible to meet departmental and customer demands.

Key Attributes
  1. Experience and knowledge in both service and sales industries.
  2. Background in technical service or sales, with an understanding of technical products.
  3. Experience in filtration media or related products is preferred.
  4. Understanding of technical applications and features/benefits of services.
  5. Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  6. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  7. Strong customer service orientation and relationship-building skills.
