Job summary

Kemp Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Construction Machinery Sales Executive to cover a Lincolnshire territory. You will manage an established customer base, develop new business and promote leading construction machinery and equipment across the region.

You will visit customers, demonstrate equipment, prepare quotations, and close sales, while maintaining high service standards and staying up to date with product knowledge and training.

Qualifications

• Proven sales experience in construction, agricultural machinery, plant or related sector.
• Good knowledge and understanding of machinery and equipment.
• Confident, personable approach with customers at all levels.
• Strong track record of building and maintaining long-term customer relationships.
• Experience generating new business, identifying opportunities and closing sales.
• Target-focused and commercially minded with negotiation and communication skills.
• Ability to demonstrate machinery and discuss technical products with customers.
• Good organisational and administrative skills.
• Strong IT skills, including Excel.
• Ability to plan efficient customer visits using mapping tools.

Responsibilities

• Manage and develop relationships with an established customer base.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities across your territory.
• Promote and sell leading construction machinery and equipment.
• Generate new leads through networking, prospecting, referrals and cold calling.
• Visit customers to understand their requirements and recommend machinery and solutions.
• Demonstrate equipment to customers as required and prepare quotations.
• Negotiate and close sales, upsell and develop existing accounts.
• Provide high level of customer service throughout the sales process.
• Plan customer visits and manage territory effectively.
• Keep up to date with product knowledge and training.
