Job summary

Kemp Recruitment Ltd is seeking an experienced Area Sales Manager to cover the Midlands from our Aldridge depot. You will drive B2B sales of forklift and material handling equipment, manage new and existing customers, and lead the full sales cycle from prospecting to close.

Role offers £50,000–£60,000 OTE with uncapped commission, a modern hybrid company car, private healthcare, pension, and tech for remote working. A strong track record in industrial machinery sales is preferred.

Qualifications

• Proven B2B sales experience within forklifts, material handling, plant hire or industrial machinery.
• Strong track record of winning new business and achieving sales targets.
• Confident managing the full sales cycle and negotiating commercial deals.
• Strong communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills.
• Organised, self-motivated and confident working independently.
• Comfortable using CRM systems.
• Full, clean UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Grow sales across a designated Midlands territory.
• Identify and win new business through prospecting and cold calling.
• Manage existing customer relationships and develop new opportunities.
• Manage the full sales process from initial contact through to close.
• Promote new and used forklift and material handling equipment.
• Maintain an accurate CRM and sales pipeline.
• Work closely with the Regional Sales Manager and wider depot team.
