Job summary

Consortium Professional Recruitment Ltd is exclusive with an established business seeking a Territory Account Manager to cover North & East Yorkshire. You will inherit an existing customer base while developing accounts and driving growth across the territory.

You will manage your diary and workload, meeting customers face-to-face, and you will be trusted to take ownership and deliver a knowledgeable service. The role offers autonomy and strong earning potential.

Qualifications

• Experience in field sales and account management with a track record of growth.
• Ability to identify opportunities and develop accounts to win new business.
• Strong negotiation skills with credibility at various customer levels.
• Proactive, self-motivated with ability to manage a diary, priorities and territory.
• Experience in electrical, mechanical, plumbing, building products or related sectors is valuable but transferable experience is acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Develop an established portfolio of customer accounts while identifying and winning new business across North & East Yorkshire.
• Build trusted, long-term relationships through regular face-to-face meetings and understand business needs.
• Create opportunities through prospecting, lead follow-up, referrals, cross-selling and upselling.
• Negotiate pricing and commercial agreements that support sustainable customer relationships.
• Manage your territory and sales activity independently while collaborating with internal teams.
