Job summary

Parkside School, Bradford, invites applications for a Teaching Assistant to work 32.5 hours per week, term time only (+5 days). You will support students with learning, social and personal needs, and serve as a Coach for a small group, helping them grow academically and personally.

The role requires GCSEs in English and Maths at grade C/4 or above, experience with young people, and a strong understanding of safeguarding. We value collaboration, professionalism and commitment to inclusion.

Qualifications

• GCSEs in English and Maths at Grade C/4 or above.
• Experience of working directly with young people.
• Clear understanding of child protection and safeguarding guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Support students individually or in small groups to access the curriculum and build independence.
• Deliver SEN interventions, differentiate learning activities and assist with exam access arrangements.
• Maintain positive relationships with parents or carers and collaborate with external professionals and school team.
• Provide administrative support and supervise students during breaks, lunch, and before/after school.
• Engage in safeguarding training and uphold GDPR and safeguarding standards.
