Responsibilities

• Support delivery of learning programmes tailored to individual learner needs.
• Assist with educational activities both in and outside the classroom.
• Build positive, trusting relationships with learners while maintaining professional boundaries.
• Promote confidence, independence, self-esteem and emotional wellbeing.
• Encourage positive behaviour and help learners overcome barriers to education.
• Work with teachers, families and external professionals to support learner progress.
• Help learners prepare for next steps, including transitions to further education, training or employment.
• Promote safeguarding and wellbeing per school policies.
• Contribute to reviews, meetings and learner progress discussions.
• Create a nurturing, inclusive and motivating learning environment.
